You are not alone! I know sometimes it can feel that way and I am here to say I would be honored to support you in your journey of emotional freedom. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist, and I am passionate about helping individuals overcome challenges and achieve their goals for a more fulfilling and balanced life. In my practice, I take a compassionate and collaborative approach to therapy. I believe in creating a safe and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we will work to identify patterns and beliefs that may be contributing to your challenges, and we will develop personalized strategies to promote lasting change and growth.
In my clinical practice, I offer a range of services working with individuals, adolescents, and families providing support and guidance for:
My approach to treatment is using modalities such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I specialize in treating individuals, adolescents, and families.
Individual Therapy: Individual therapy provides a confidential and safe environment where individuals can freely express thoughts, feelings, and concerns without fear of judgment. I use a collaborative approach that aims to empower and foster autonomy and self-determination. In session, we will create goals, interventions, and strategies to meet your specific needs.
Adolescent Therapy: Being a Mom of two teenagers I have personally seen the struggles that adolescents have these days. In adolescent therapy, I will provide emotional support while teaching coping skills and ways to communicate and manage emotions in an effective way. I will also provide a supportive space for adolescents to explore and understand their sense of self, values, beliefs, and aspirations.
Family Therapy: Being a part of a family system can be challenging at times. I believe that in the family system issues can impact the entire family. In family therapy, we will work to understand and resolve conflicts, improve communication, and strengthen relationships.
Sessions are typically 50 minutes and the number and frequency of sessions may depend on the complexity of the issues and progress made.
